Summer Schools/Student tours

Please note that these rules apply to students under and over the age of 18 attending our summer schools and student only university tours. These rules also apply to the under 18s on parent and student tours.

All UniYou students must:

  • Fulfil all compulsory sessions
  • Treat each other, all members of the community, staff, external speakers and all members of the public with respect, courtesy and consideration.
  • Takes care of all personal property, that of others, as well as their own.
  • Follow the guidance of and respect the tour leader/s
  • Not use mobile phones during educational sessions.

During the programme, any student may not:

  • Smoke nor have possession of any smoking materials
  • Consume nor have the possession of any alcohol
  • Engage in gambling
  • Use nor have possession of the property of another student without the willing permission of the owner
  • Consume nor have possession of any illegal substance
  • Engage in personal relationships of a physical nature with another student
  • Use nor have possession of a firearm or other weapons, ammunition or any explosive substances, including fireworks
  • Buy or sell property, nor borrow money

Parents/guardians/educational professionals

All UniYou guests must:

  • Treat each other, all members of the community, staff, external speakers and all members of the public with respect, courtesy and consideration
  • Take care of all personal property, that of others, as well as their own
  • Only smoke in designated areas
  • Drink alcohol only during meals and in free time when university sessions are finished and always in moderation.

During the programme, any guests may not:

  • Consume nor have possession of any illegal substance
  • Use nor have possession of a firearm or other weapons, ammunition or any explosive substances, including fireworks
  • Use nor have possession of the property of another guest without the willing permission of the owner
